yeah, this is my favorite pic of a muscle as of right now... i dont know for sure, it all depends on how heavy the car is, what tires it has, and how heavy the engine is.

A lot of it has to do with the suspension and weight transfer.Big cars do it more easily than small cars, especially when you are talking mopars.

so would a stiffer rear end jump more or less than a soft rear end

I'm not sure what you mean by jump. The really good mopar rear set ups use the SS springs that are like six or seven leafs in the front of the axle and only three behind the axle. This makes it very slinky and soft as far as axle motion but stiff in the front to minimize spring flex and act like a traction bar.Makes the whole car lift up and plant the tires, even more so if you add a pinion snubber.I hope this makes sense.

I'd think any musclecar would be hell to drive on gravel... if there's anything Vanishing Point taught me, it's that, really.

Which is why a 5500rpm redline, torque-monster 440 4-bbl outran everything the cops could throw at him andthensome.

Yeah I know! Everytime I run from the cops I head out through the backraods and fields too. For some reason, as soon as I leave the paved roads, their radios stop working. And since only my car can go through fields, not the cop cars, and only I know the backroads the cops don't know, it's pretty easy to lose them. I do it everyday! :)

what I ment is that the cops around here don't know the leaseroads as well as I do (worked on them for 2 years), and they will never go faster than 100 on gravel. cop cars never ever will go into feilds, not after gillinski wrote off a cruiser into rabbit creek, and in spring you need a 4X4 to get through them. also, theres a couple hills on leaseroads that my Ramcharger has trouble getting up, let alone a RWD car. a 440 fury with .273 gears has a faster top speed than the cop cars, so I can useually put a Km or two between us before the cop can hack around on the highway. and with my Roadrunner i just have to stay ahead of them until I get into town, then I can lose them on the residential streets, head out of town and take gravel home. it's really not all that hard.
and for the record I'm 22-1, the one time I got caught I cornered too fast in the fury and put it in the ditch, I blew a .072 and only got a 30 day DUI suspension, a stunting ticket, and dangerous driving.
