I had a 68 with a 427 big block. I bought it new & took the heads off to get headers on it. It was either that or take the engine halfway out. Had to get to some of the plugs through the wheel wells. That looks like a L88 big block hood with a small block engine. I wouldn't mind having another one but I would have to just look at it, because I don't think I could get in or out of one anymore. - Jon

my brother Jerry had six... when I was down there getting RED painted in 01... he's 6'6" tall and he folded himself into those cars... he started back in the late 70's with a 67 coupe and worked himself up to six 70 pre 76 stingrays. The engine he had in the 67 was a 427 Rat... funny thing he sold all his vettes here and there but still owns that Rat motor. He then about six years ago hurt himself bad enough he couldn't fold himself into them anymore and that is when he decided to go American Graffiti. He's doing a double nickel two door hardtop flat black like in the movie... gas tank on the front...straight axle front end the whole nine with a twist :D he built a solid aluminum, solid roller 633 cu in Merlin to put into it... with a twist of twin super chargers.... he was sad because it only has on the dyno.... 2500 hp.... awe poor baby... good thing he isn't building a rag top or it would blow it off... Daffy as far as I know he still has the RAT sitting next to a Boss 429 virgin and a 428 SCJ with 3 dueces.... sad to see such art work sitting in the corner....

I got this one running and driving but it still needs carb work and some other stuff..If I had a workable shop here I'd painting it Red... The original color is War bonnet Yellow which is that crappy gold color that belongs on 4 door novas...
