Some Pis of The motor in the Chero...

Hay everyone, thought I might as well show some pics of the motor in my 72 ranchero, maybe with the chance of waking this site up a bit. Well here it goes, we had a bit of trouble dropping it in, like first off the first cherry picker was too short, so we couldn't get the motor far enough back. Secondly, when we got a different cherry picker, we were about to go over the noise of the car when suddleny one of the chains broke free, resulting in the whole front of the motor tilting froward, luckily my friend broke the fall of the motor, but he kind of hurt his hand and I felt a bit bad about that. Thirdly we could not for the life of us get the motor to bolt up to the tranny while it was in the car, so we pulled that out and bolted it to the motor outside of the car and dropped it in all as one unit. So thank god it is finally in, and this weekend I plain to start it for the first time. I would have last weekend, but I received the wrong starter from summit, and they sent me another one, and now I am just waiting for school to end for this week so I could go home and work on my car. Well that is all for now, and expect a start up video hopefully by the end of the week.

No not as of yet, just waiting to go home from school tomorrow, which will be around 11. I will keep you all updated on what is going on, and I will make sure to make a video of it running.
