Hay guys its time for yet another cleveland question. So I just recieved my block and what not back from the machine shop and it all looks great none the less. So me and my friend were assembling the bottom end tonight and we use a plastiguage and everything checked out correctly. So here is the part that got us wondering. So we torqued up the bolts (my block is also a 2 bolt main setup( to 85ft pounds first, then to 105 ft pounds last. This spec felt way too tight and just did not overall feel right. So I was wondering if cj or anyone else had the correct spec or if the crank should just feel a bit tight when it is new bearings that are on it? Also if this helps the crank is ground .30 under on the mains. Thanks for the help Dave.

Ya Dave 95-105 is good. When you say it just don't feel right, what do you mean? The crank will have some resistance, nothing like ball bearings. Assuming you have the right bearings AND when you rotate the crank a couple turns you do not feel any binding in certain spots, it should have the same feel for 360 deg's. You should be good to go. After you rotate it a couple times, pop the caps off and have a look.
