Heard ya'll were catching it rough out there, we got 65 degrees and rain here inn eastern NC. I wouldn't know where to start to dig out of that kind of mess. Most we ever had in this area in the last 55 years wes 23 inches, this area couldn't move for 3 weeks because we don't have the equipment to handle that type of weather.

Actually the Springs was moving faster today than Denver...it recieved the bulk of the storm but it will be fully funtional by tomorrow. Colorado knows how to deal with it and the weather is warmer today and tomorrow so that sunshine helps tremendously. All of the roads will be good by sunday no problem.

this morning when I was going up that road where the white ford is coming at me...I got around that corner and a BMW was stuck in the intersection. Some people....shouldn't drive.....anyhow her boyfriend was trying to get her out.... I just dropped Grouch into Low Lock and walked right through the pile of snow over three feet high with out skipping a beat...she yelled at him saying I want one of those..... I wanted to say its for sale...but I needed it at the moment.

No I haven't yet.... been a bit busy and Klaus is a stubborn man.... he says it still works...well yes, but I did have my hands full bouncing thru the deep snow this morning because it binds up....but I guess its going to break before he says lets fix it.... Kind of like that timing light issue.... I'll just time them the old way.......by ear.......if it don't ping and it runs good...its must be right. I fixed that....he doesn't even have a clue :D :D

It definitely takes care of business when needed. An old neighbor of ours used to store their Kenworth in the back yard....3 years ago they had got it stuck in the muck so to speak so Klaus hooked a chain up and let her rip..... It took a couple tries but Grouch's screaming tires got the job done. Its a mean truck for sure.

Grouch reminds me of my neighbors F-150. Its not a new one, it looks like it was made in the late 80's early 90's (I'm not good with truck years) and boy can that thing rip. He doesn't drive it often, but when it does you can hear it from miles away. One day my Grand Am got stuck, and he said he'd pull it out with it, but all these new cars have nothing to just hook a chain to without risking breaking something. You all got to use a thick strap and put it around the axle to do it safely. Once I get a welder, I'm gonna hook something up to it so I don't need to call AAA every time I need a pull. Then every time I get a car, I'm gonna rig something if it doesn't already have it.

keep road salt off Grouch???? thats too funny....that truck lives for this weather, there is actually a book from a body parts house where we can buy the entire body for our truck in fiberglass...... boy would that lighten up Grouch a bit....

PaPa Mike
