I love the Montes, but that one is too beat up to draw a big bid. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like more and more people these days are unrealistically aiming for the sky with their asking prices.
In doing some reading through Auto Trader last weekend, I was shocked at what people were trying to get for some very average cars. Not every car built from 1965-1990 is a Hemi, Boss 429 or 23-mile GNX.

When I was looking for the new ride, Klaus kept mentioning that year make and model.....when I found RED.... I'm glad I found RED. :D :D

You can thank Barret Jackson for all the insanity, I put the blame on all this high end auction nonsense. Anybody who has any of the same cars that sold for nutso money on BJ auctions thinks that there car is automatically worth that much as well. Some of these people need a shot of reality.

That guy really is straight up asking too much. There is the sang "An object is only worth as much as the buyers willing to pay," but that doesn't go with the seller. Unless he's been nagged on about selling it, and just put it on ebay to make them happy.
