Sorry to get you hopes up, but no. BUT, if Chevy were to build an '07 Chevelle, it would probably look like this:

Isn't it sweet? Its based off a late-model GTO and as you can see has been modded to look like a '70 Chevelle. Not only that, but it also runs the '70 Chevelles powerplant; An LS6 454. And for the pultry sum of $125,000 plus s/h it can be all yours.

Did those just get on the market? They were getting planned like 3 years ago. Theyre pretty darn nice behind, the front is a little awkward though with those lights.

For 125,000 dollars I'd rather buy a real 70 Chevelle with the most awesome paint job and I'd stuff a full roller 635CU Merlin motor....not that

I HATE that roofline with a passion:mad:

Ya, I said that over at MCC. The roofline needs to flatter, with a sharper angle between the roof and C-pillar, and the sail panel needs to be wider. I'm going to assume that when they built it, editing those particular things would have interfered with GMs safety regulations. As for being in production, kinda sorta. There is a company called Aloha Automotive that is building them. They are custom built one at a time, and require a late model GTO, which is alot of the price.

look at the side body panels. Do they look familiar? (GTO)... The only way I would buy that is if it came with a big block Ford for power.:D

Ranchero, I know it's a GTO, I already told everyone. Why would you want a Ford powerplant in that? It's GM all the way, its a Pontiac car, styled after a Chevrolet, and running a GM powerplant. Anyways the ('70)LS6 is more powerful than anything Ford built with the exception of the Cammer, which wasn't street legal. Hey, I've got another idea, after we put the Ford engine in it, lets restyle it to look like a '69 Torino, and then we'll use a Ford car instead of the GTO to build it on. Heck, while we're at it let's just let Ford build it and quit griping about a GM car, restyled to look like another GM car, running a GM powerplant.

Didn't mean to offend you. I guess I just get tired of seeing Chevy power plants in Fords and it would be nice if Chevy would come out with another pony car so the big 3 can play again and wip the pants off of those POS ricers.:)

Oh no, no offense taken, I just get sick of people saying "Man that would be sweet if it a 427 CJ!" when they are talking about cars made by other companies. I have a buddy who walked around a car show with me and every time we would pass a GM, or Mopar he'd go "This thing sucks, it needs a/n (insert Ford part here) then I would rock.) and whenever we saw a Ford he'd go "Man that would beat the s*** out of that (insert brand other than Ford) we saw earlier." No joke there was an LS6-454 '70 Monte Carlo there, and he kept telling me that this '73 Mustang 351 Windsor would beat the he-- out of it. I mean I know it all depends on the driver, but come on. Oh and about Chevy coming out with another pony car: Doesn't this count as a pony car? '09 Camaro (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/FVDP/Photos/styleId=100687353#)

I always do that, espically with all the chevy pickups I see every day. I just walk up to them and say "nice truck, just needs one thing to make it really cool" then they wall say "what?" and I say "well first thing I'd do is pull out that 350 (pause) and throw a 318 in there. lots of fun to be had with that one:D
