Cool Dusters. those are some nice colors. I plan on making mine eather red, orange, silver, yellow, sassy grass like the top Duster or a deep blue, not so much a dark blue, but a deeper one. Iv decided against Plum Crazy.

It's my Cobra wannabe..It started life as a miserable pathetic MGB with a 1.4 liter engine...Now has 7.3 (440 Dodge 6bbl) That shot was taken right before she was torn down for some improvements...I need to get back to work on her soon.

Improvements!? what else does it need? a 440+6 in a 1500lb car. sounds like the perfect thing to me.

Where did you find a 440-6?

Mine's not a true six pack.and it's a lot heavier than that..Although several real six packs were consumed during the construction of this thing. It's an old Offy 413 intake with 3 strombergs on it but it works pretty good so it's a lot of fun to drive. The only time it was pulled over in the 3500 miles I put on it was when the cop wanted to know what it was.

Better, definitely better. Is this one that you are working on right now?
Should be able to find THAT in a parking lot!
Great weekend!

Just finished shooting it...Who'd have thought you could shoot paint in an open garage at night in December... Believe it or not I still had a few bugs. They love the smell of clear coat...

I can't tell from the photo, but did you paint the door handles body color? And did you go with a base coat/clear coat, or epoxy enamel?

Yeah. I noticed that and assumed that the handles are masked. I don't take of handles if they work properly, unless one is planning a complete inside refinish. I find the linkages in the door never work right once they have been off. Easier just to mask it.

:D The car looks great Daffy...are you going to put some semi gloss black stripes on her? that would be awesome.

Handles are chrome....And I do base/clear on everything I do although I think this yellow would have worked fine in single stage.

Thanks....Sometimes I feel like I'm down here on the car farm.. Way too many of these things for one guy to drive. I'm just a sucker for old cars.

Hey
This is the 74 duster my uncle used to own. Originally a 318 car, he swapped in a '70 340, repainted the thing and added a few mods. Pictures arent great but their the only ones I have of the car:
