ok ok i know i'm not here much but i do spend alot of time out of town (moving) and i try to hit trifives twice a month but as i'm still dreaming about that 57 i want. i have had and do have a muscel car or two. started street racing when i was 14 with my cousin and tryed to have at least one in the yard at all times now its a 81 t.a. which i've had about 6 years i just droped a 350 in it as i want to redo the 400 since it set 4 years. (was never started) was thinking of taking the 455 out of my motorhome to put in it someone told me that since the 455 is out of a motorhome it would have some he** of a torch and i would not need to do anything to the motor but i was also told it may twist my car body as its not a full frameed car i won't lie and say i know eather way and i no longer talk to my cousin. as he was the builder and i was just the stupid kid that would drive anything fast and do the labor, guess i should of paid attention. his skills my guts. so what do you all think should i put the 455 in or redo the 400

I've seen one shoe horned into a 72 Chevy Nova....on the strip that beast burned down the track blistering less than 11 seconds in the 1/4 mile. It made you double take. I think what would be more impressive and maybe slightly scarey.....but bare with me a second. The most hated/loved car....the Corvair. Now take say the last year built the Corsa model of course, that body is very close to the same size as the 68 Camaro....you take the drive train from either the 68 Camaro or the Firebird....then fit the Corvair body onto that. If you can fabricate....it can be done. Every one in the world knows the Corvair has the engine in the rear. Pull up to the tech at the race track....They are going to give you the look like you have totally lost it....Then follow them to the car to tech the engine compartment....they go to the NOW trunk while you walk to the front of the car.....see where I'm going... :D :D pure evil...that CAR would be the talk...now the trick here is to keep it looking fairly stock. Of course you will have to redo all of the suspension to handle that freight train under the hood...but the looks would be priceless..... Just a thought...... :D

Now Chucky...you aren't supposed to discuss street racing or condone street racing...however...every one who owns a muscle machine has done it and is guilty of it.... :D Oh trust me I have some twisted ideas of how to build cars..cross breeding etc. Its just too bad my wallet is on a diet.....I don't have the fat wallet disease.... :D I would love to go to a car show, pull up with a blown 460 sticking out of the hood of a fully ford badged....64 Nova SS.... :D :D
Even more evil LOL
