How can you not like those classic Trans-Am style wheels?!

I would love to get my hands on a 390 powered '68-'70 Javelin SST...........in 'Big Bad Green'.

The T/A pic reminded me..........I saw a great looking '77 or '78 T/A today.......it was the shiniest dark blue I had ever seen. I'm thinking it must have been recenty restored or painted..........it sounded great too.

The wheels look pretty darn good on those Boss 302s. And yes, there is a racing series. Thats why the Boss 302, Z28, AAr 'Cuda and T/A Challenger were made.

to me thay look like plastic. I dont know if its the pic or what, but they just do to me. and for gods sake I state my opinion on a set of wheels and for some reason that stirs up all this noise... why?

Well I wasn't.... but Duster you have a point. I'm not a fan of those wheels either. The magnums on the two are a great touch.... but that one in the middle all around I didn't care for. Sometimes I take pictures of all cars because you just never know. I was not a fan of the color or the wheels. To me if you are going to build a car, you need to take into consideration every part and how it will fit with the rest of the car. I don't like orange cars. Orange's are meant to be eaten. Now candy tangerine is another flavor all together and would look sharp on that car. Those wheels.....look like something off of an older VW. My opinion. I took steps when building RED, first the motor, then the paint. After the paint I worked the interior...just to get the right touch, that suited my taste. Then the door panels were off, so I made the covers for my door panels....Its a total package...and the Tailgunners just look plain good on any car. :D :D

The Trans-Am racing series is where the Firebird Trans Am got it's name from. The Boss 302 mustang was originally going to be called the Mustang Trans-Am, but Pontiac liscensed the name first.

It actually means Trans American...

And wheels are wheels, if he don't like them, he don't like them...

Good to be here guys. Had a nasty spot for awhile there and kept a low profile, but I'm around again.

BTW, my AMX is going to get the red, white, and blue treatment...

AMC just was a nice company. They had different looking cars, but still looked like something made in America.
