That movie was the best. The Crue's Kick-start My Heart has to be one of the best choices for backround music in that one. that yellow Cuda was my fav.

I hate when they play music over the sound of the cars. Hate it.
And if they do play music, at least something appropriate, like the MC5.

IMO, Kickstart My Heart WAS appropriot. you had the guitar making engine noises in the beginning, and just listen to the lyrics. nothings more adrenoline pumping than that stuff.

I disagree. A period-correct, location-correct band (i.e. MC5, the Stooges) is more appropriate.
But I still say none at all is best.

Motley Crue = adrenaline pumping party all night, party all day music. NO DENIEING IT!!!! thus fits the mold for that clip.

MC5 - 1964-72?, Detroit MI, party all day and night, adrenaline-pumping, and they actually acomplished something other than selling records.
They made a difference. Them politically-active bands are best, do denying it.

dude, don't you remember the Crues Come-Back tour in '05? they accomplished something, beleive it or not. people wern't aying, "The Crue is dead." they were saying "The 80's are dead" once that got spread around, and Nikki Sixx heard about it, they went on tour for ALL the 80's bands, like G&R, Slaughter, Ratt, Alice in Chains, Skid Row and all them. they re-sparked the dieing Hair-Band age. thats an accomplishment. they inspired me and a bunch of others I know to but a guitar, get good, and join a band. thats another accomplishment. They have the best songs to throw in a CD player, and just have a party. They accomplished stuff. I don't know, or care why your so blind to that. just cause they ain't Ted Nugant, or Hendrix, doesn't mean they're not good, or influanced anyone, or accomplished anything.

different strokes for different folks. I like The Crue, along with a bunch of other metal/rock/hair bands from the 80's, as do just about all people where I live. if you can't get over that, OOPS!!!!
