Wheel Standers

Did anyone see the wheel stand contest on SPEED Channel?
It aired last night in Florida, but I don't know when it actually took place. The winners were a 1987 Olds Cutlass that actually lifted off the ground completely and then rolled over four times when it came back down and a Gremlin that carried the front wheels over 400 feet down the track. These guys definitely had more balls than brains:eek: .

The wheelstand competition you speak of was held last October at Byron Dragway in Illinois outside of Rockford. They do it every October.

Here you don't get to see them often. Our track doesn't get sticky enough for you to stand on you back bumper. I do have some great pictures a friend sent me of wheel standers...if I remember I'll get them posted on here later :D
