I went to Marcus again tonight, and JACKPOT. The guy with the Hemi Superbird last week, yeah, he has a 440 Daytona too. Only a 440, but still a rare car. So im going around, see a beatiful '69 GTX, keep going, lots of Chevys as usual and Fords too. Went around to the back, there were some nice cars. I can see over into the front of the lot, and I can make out (with my bad eyes) a Road Runner, nice apple green, and the dog dish caps. It slows down, and, NO! The chrome lugs spinning HAD ME FOOLED! So I immediately start walking towards it (the Mopar guys park in the front, on the left, the lot is shaped like a Z and he is all the way down. I see the scoop, and walk over. It was a beautiful car, and the guy started talking to some buddies and I overheard him saying he was in the 12.90s on the stock tires the other day. There was a FAST sticker in the windshelid, and it was pretty obvious it was set up for the FAST racing. I look at the VIN, and get this, I see RM23II. Im like, what the heck? I keep staring, and cant tell if its an M or not. Maybe an H? So I go over and ask the guy if its an H or M,. and sure enough, its an M. So I asked about how close to stock the engine was, and he said virtually stock other than a Mopar .474 cam. 3900 lbs with driver, and (high 3600 without him), a TF, and high 12s. So I told him I wanted to go into FAST, and he said youre a Mopar guy? I said Mopars and Chevys. And then I told him a little bit about what I wanted to do, and he realized I was on the FAST forums. He was pretty cool. I seen a friend of my dads there too, he has a '71 383 'Cuda with a 440 in it. Sounded pretty healthy. Another great night. Oh yeah, there was an LS5, stock exhuast. Didnt sound like much off the line but he pulled second at around 5 grand, and boy, did that sound great.

I went to Musclepalooza IV a few weeks back.........I was surprised at the amount of Mopars there............they were the majority. One Superbird made the trip. And the F.A.S.T cars were there as well, which included some 440-6 cars and some 426 cars, there was also a Stage 1 Buick, a '68 GTO, and a '69 Camaro Z/28.

I didn't think cloning was allowed in FAST.
