motor oil

Ive heard that Red Line and especially Royal Purple is good stuff. Do any of you guys know anything about Kendall Motor Oil. I just had the oil changed in my 86 IROC at Firestone and thats what they put in it (I wanted Redline or Royal Purple, but no one ever carries that stuff). Do you guys know if Kendall is good? what brands do you think is the best?

Don't know much about Kendall, I haven't heard anything bad. I use synthetic in my F-150....usually M1.

I use either Valvoline, Castrol GTX or Mobil in my GTO.
