Many of you know im in a band, and we play at Battle of the Band concerts right? well, at least everyone from MCC know. anyway, theres a new battle going down saturday the 14th. so my band and I will be sharpening our skills until then. ill be on like im usually on tomorrow, but during the week ill problebly only be on like, once a day, if that. were gonna practice practice practice everyday after school, and with homework and stuff, ill have little time to relax. we REALLY want to take first this time, which were pretty confident of. just a little heads up.

Good luck at the Rave -- I lived in Milw. many years ago (probably before you were born, although I don't really know your age!) and I don't remember any place called the Rave (google tells me it's at 2401 W. Wisconsin Ave., so I can pretty much figure out where it is!)

Sounds like a great venue, lots of big names playing there.....

we know for a fact Ace of Spades will be on the playlist. at the BOBs, each band gets 1 song to start out with, then judging on the crowds reactions, they pick the top 3, than they each play 1 more, then the crowd decides whos the best again, and judjing on the crowds screams, they pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd. were gonna play Ace of Spades first, then if we get to the final 3, were eather gonna play You Could Be Mine by Guns N' Roses, or Awake by Godsmack.

Milwaukee huh, thats where I met my wife at the old Eagles club downtown. Some of the family still live there on the south side. I always enjoyed the Brewery tours and the free beer:D

I lived in Milwaukee for a while --- just about one year --- most of my friends were from the south side -- cudahy seems to ring a bell. I worked at the post office so I got to know the names of streets but didn't really get to know where they were! We honeymooned in Milwaukee -- went to some car race, can't remember what it was called - had other things on my young mind!

We spent lots of time at Elkhart Lake at the races...now THAT was fun!

My wifes sister still lives on South 33rd ST. I used to go with my brother-in -law to a places called Hales Corners and watch oval dirt racing on Sat nites.

Im back... exausted... and rich. we won. 200 bucks given to each member, and a 50 buck gift card to www.musitionsfriend.com. Ace of Spades went over really well. we decided to do Shout at the Devil by Motley Crue as our 2nd song, and that rocked the crowd like a caddilac swerving in and out of traffic at 85, since caddies have sway bars, and weigh like 2 tons and such. no idea how im gonna spend it, im just really tired and pumped at the same time. tired of concentrating on my warlock, and jumping over Marshall Halfstacks with 2 gallons of sweat running down my body, and nearly going def while doing it. and pumped cause im gettin a Duster tomorrow.

Trust me, they're much stricter in the US. And for good reason. I've had both friends and family killed by drunk drivers.

Plus, drunks in general smell bad and look like jack***es in front of everyone and just generally cause the police to wear out their handcuffs.

That and, well, my city's last mayor was a stupid drunk (believe it or not) and did a Grade-F job of running the place.

And just to pipe in...even if you don't get caught, it's still illegal! You might not have to pay the fine or spend time in jail, but it's still against the law! I'm sure you wouldn't say the same thing about burglarizing your neighbor's house....sorry, couldn't resist the temptation to pipe in

Trust me, It was my brothers real Drivers licence and we look like twins even though hes 3 years older, and me being drunk in milwalkee won't look too out of place. and It'll be one heck of a road trip, will have to take the fury so I don't smash up the speed demon.
