So this might be the same story but definitely one that needs told. I drive for work...sometimes 450 miles a week. So on occassion I drive RED to work. Sometimes, I have "R O A D " so bad, (really overactive Adrenilene Disorder) that I have to drive the Ranchero. I was driving north one afternoon going up one of the main roads and had drove by a 06 blue Boss Mustang turning to get onto the same road. It was a nice car...I happened to look back and saw that mustang swerving in and out of traffic as if to get up next to my truck. He finally catches up, pulls along side and looks over at me....busted out laughing and tells his girlfriend. Oh Man....IT'S AN OLD LADY!!!!! Now you all know, at least I hope your mothers taught you, that you don't show disrespect to any woman. It's just plain mean. I am not old, I'm 47 and God gave me silver hair at the age of 16. So I have long white hair. But that doesn't mean I'm old. Well, I'm sitting in the Chero, slightly fuming....looking around at the traffic and searching for the hidden policeman. To my joy and excitement....none to be seen. Well I looked over at him and smiled Looked over my sunglasses at him so he could see my eyes, and the light turned green. I layed rubber....went through the gears flawlessly. As I pulled up to the next light I had a little time to roll my window down. He finally pulled along side and looked at my truck and yelled WOW. At this point, I had yelled to his girlfriend...she's saying how cool my truck was, I said to her, "Sugar, the next time your boy toy here decides to make a fool of himself, remind him of the day that THE OLD LADY in the RED Ranchero kicked his butt." She was laughing so hard she was almost in tears. AT that point the young Soldier behind the wheel decided to salute me and tell me I was #1. Turned and went a different direction. I sat there, patted RED on the dashboard for a job well done. We drove off... as if nothing ever happened. So fellas, the next time you pull up on a lady in her hotrod....don't say OLD LADY...because she just might happen to be the one to set you straight.   :D

thats a cool story. I always like to see men and women over the age of 40 in nice cars. around here in wisconsin, you see alot of men in their 50's with these sweet corvettes. but it wreks it all to see them in their nice rods, and cant drive worth a bean, all going slow and activating their turn signals like 50-100 yards before their turn. its like, that car has that engine for a reason, use it.

Well too you have to figure, they either have a heart condition, or they have been there done that and have nothing to prove. >>> or absolute worse...they never could drive to begin with. I don't condone street racing...really it's not safe anymore, but once in awhile I'm as guilty as the next person.  :D
What gets me more than anything is when you are driving having a pleasant drive and all of a sudden you end up with 20 bee buzzing Honda's swarming around you like a bunch of bugs....drives me crazy.

Yeah, every now and again, I have to open up some smack down on them to get them to leave. Do you notice they swarm up to you in a pack of 20 then you smack one down....they all leave as fast as the came???? Man you just start to have fun...and they go away. :D ;)

The old men in vettes in Wisconsin made me swear I'd never get a vette! Now I'm an old man in Florida and when I get my vette I'll drive it like it's stolen, I promise! :)

My brother who painted my truck, has 6 to 8 vettes at any given time. Currently he has had a vette frame powder coated, put a 55 Chevy two door hardtop on it....and built a solid aluminum Merlin Motor. 660 ci monster, roller crank, cam, the whole motor is a roller motor, he also has it supercharged. He was upset that it only dyno'd at 2500 hp. He was hoping for 3000, now tell me when you have a car that fast, and then you have a speed boat that is powered by a 460 blower motor....what do you do next for fun.... FLY?

Thats so obvious too. Anytime you see a woman driving a real car, YOU KNOW she knows cars, rarely they will just be driving their boyfriends/husbands car because most guys wouldnt want anyone driving their car and most women wouldnt want to drive thier men's cars unless they were in the hobby. At least he was cool about it though, and his girlfriend probably went to tell all of his friends, and they probably think he is just B.S.ing that your car was fast because he lost, and they are probably laughing at him, and that what he gets for saying "Its an old lady" lol. Nice story.:D

When we are at the shows, people as Klaus my hubby what it has etc. etc. and say wow you have a nice car....he proudly says, well, its the wifes car. And proceeds to tell them it was a gift from him to me. I do make alot of men upset...I set the bar for the best gift for your 20th anniversary. Ladies just tell the man what you want. It's so easy  :D

Whenever I see a man and a women I ask "Whos car is it" because you never know. It always makes them smile to because I considered for a second that it could be their car, even if it isnt.

We have fun, tomorrow we have a Poker Run with the local Chapter of the Iron Pigs. A biker club of retired Police and Firefighters. This run is to raise funds for a few Cancer victims. We always love getting a chance to run with the Harleys. So as always we'll be next to the only vehicle in the club, my Daughter is going to be driving her fiance's truck. She's pregnant almost 8 months so its hard for her to get on a bike. The President of the club is the other grandpa to Connor. So it will be a great time. I'll have Camera in hand because you never know. At other forums I've been dubbed the picture queen.... :D  got to love those digitals.
